Eric Gilbert is Pastor of Worship Arts at Christ Church in Berkeley, CA. He is passionate about worship IN the Church and the work OF the Church. Since he has always had trouble writing his own lyrics, he is fond of taking other people's words, which are much better than any he could ever come up with, and putting them to music. So there's a big file of half-finished arrangements on his laptop. And over the course of several years, he's actually managed to finish a few of those projects. He has never done any kids music. But he does have kids...four of them. So at some point one cannot help but be influenced by the environment he finds himself in. Lots of kids learn the Westminster Catechisms. But not a lot of people have put those to music. So if you buy it and listen you'll find 20 questions and answers on 11 tracks (they are actually finished). Hopefully you'll think it's pretty good music. Fun and encouraging for children. And that it's for grown-ups, too.

Family FAVE!
author: Kimberly
Originally purchased this CD for my grandson 2 years ago, primarily for the catechism/biblical truths content. It quickly became a family fave -- the ecclectic music is incredible, all ages will sing & dance along to the tracks! Children of all ages will recognize and memorize the biblical truths of the Westminster Catechism -- a bonus! How fun to overhear my then 3 year old grandson telling a friend about sanctification......Thank You, Aaron! (Yep, he includes that part in the telling!) Well done, Mr. Gilbert and friends.

Great and Important
author: Aaron Shust
Not only is Eric a musical genius who poured so much of himself into this project, but he also knows the importance of solid theology in the hearts and minds of children. My 2 year old absolutely LOVES this album, he dances to all the songs, and I'm thrilled that his mind is getting filled with truth. Eric hasn't dumbed down the music for children either. It's quality stuff.
