Eric has been writing songs since the age of five. At ten he formed his first band, Limestone, who remained together for almost a decade, playing their fair share of bar gigs and festivals. He has since devoted much of his time to producing and performing his own music in a variety of genres. \"Eric Hogg\", aside from being his birth given name, is also the name he uses for all his acoustic guitar based songs. Eric likes to use the studio as a creative tool to bring his songs to the next level, often adding multi-part harmonies, vocal doubles, live drums/found sound percussion, and experimental programming to add new dimensions to his music. He has a fondness for unusual chord changes, memorable melodies and crafty arrangements.
