Eric IQ is an Artist, Producer that has worked in the Hip Hop, Punk, Rock, Reggae, Pop and R&B music field for many years just to name a few. His early accomplishments began in the mid and late 1980's when he launched the record label Northside Production$ with partners James Lee and Rohan Davis in Trenton, New Jersey, Eric IQ Gray is responsible for the first recording Album release and huge success of the Legendary Hip Hop group The Poor Righteous Teachers. As a Producer and Executive Producer he has worked with chart topping artist and many Legendary producers too many to name and has traveled around the world and again has laid the first real Hip Hop foundation outside the USA in other Countries in Western and Eastern Europe. Eric IQ has received awards for is achievements and is still independent and producing music on his latest record label Angel Youth Enterprises in Brooklyn NY.

No one can deny that Hip Hop music is a force to be recon with worldwide. It's a media and economical powerhouse that earn billions of dollars every year and it has a voice that's heard from Harlem to Hollywood and from the streets of New York to the streets of New Deli.
Hip Hop in general is making it happen and Eric IQ Gray, is making it happen for himself and his record label Angel Youth Enterprises. Eric IQ is not new to the Hip Hop game. He started his first record label, North Side Productions Inc. in 1988, found and produced the debut album "Holy Intellect" of the Hip Hop group The Poor Righteous Teachers. That album as well as the first released single "Rock This Funky Joint" went Gold in the early nineties. Eric IQ didn't only make his stripes in the U.S Hip Hop scene; he also has been one of the strongest players in creation of the European Hip Hop community. Especially in Germany, the biggest music market in Europe, where he lived and produced music for a decade.
This is Eric IQ Gray third album. Eric IQ and The Prophets Empire is here has had success with the self-produced album, it's a hard-hitting singel with many different styles.
Eric IQ now lives in New York and decided not move alone this time and brought along few of his most skilled and well lyrically armed soldiers, The Prophets Empire: Short Lord, Jan Rose, Tylilz and Super. All of these MC's are featured on the album "Hop Around The World".
The title "Hop around the world" was chosen for two reasons. First, the worldwide growth of the Hip Hop culture at large and secondly, where and how Eric IQ's album was recorded. There are 19 tracks on this album and most of the songs are recorded in different countries: London, Hamburg, New York City and so on. All artists featured on this album have diverse ethnical background from all over the world.
This album is a reflection of Eric IQ's experiences from his years of hip hopping around the world.
