Album Notes

Eric Erickson has been described by the Woodstock Times as "the quintessential American singer-songwriter" and his debut CD, "At Long Last" makes the reason for this description apparent.

The long-awaited release features all the styles of music for which Eric has become renowned in his live performances. The selections on the CD are all Eric's own except for his wry cover of the Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand".

Eric was able to avail himself of some of Woodstock's finest acoustic talent. Making appearances on the album are acoustic guitar master Artie Traum, fiddler Jay Ungar, the Lovin' Spoonful's John Sebastian and cellist Abbey Newton.

Eric's intent was to create a recording that presents his songs in a forum that does not deviate a great deal from their live versions yet enables the guest artists to add their own unique touches.
