It's seldom you come across a musician who has been living their passion for the last seventeen years, while humbly admitting they still have a lot to learn. Since first picking up the guitar at age eight, Eric Tollefson has evolved to accompany a soulful lyrical palette with his uncanny ability to entertain intricate acoustic rhythms. Happily surrounded by major influences like Ray LaMontagne and Amos Lee as well as local musicians, Tollefson is at a new phase in his musical career.
"I think it's every artist's goal to take a person from the point before they heard the song, to someplace different... to move them in a way," says Tollefson of his intention as a musician. "I guess that's my ultimate goal at the end of the day -to write something that moves me at the same time."
