THE DATE PROFILE: MUSIC FROM THE MOTION PICTURE is described as the narrator to the story. Throughout the production shoot, the director to the movie, Eric Vega, would shoot a scene then go home and write the music as the shoot went along. The music is described as "a guy in a tux at a bar lounge, near a piano with a cigar in one hand and a scotch in the other." With a variety of pop and jazz artists emerging from the Central Valley of California, the soundtrack is a collection of bossa nova jazz and nu-jazz styled tracks.
