Most of them have appeared on other CDs, but they work well together in this compilation. Eric's wonderful performances lie somewhere between folk and pop, but above all, they are French. They are well produced and contain intriguing background elements such as children's choirs and fretless basses. If you have heard Eric's more recent work, this disc will give you a taste of his musical history that I guarantee you'll enjoy.
