Album Notes

Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Erika Lloyd and guitarist Cameron Mizell have been recording together since meeting in a college music theory class. They have joined forces this time to create a dynamic collection of cover songs, spanning decades of folk, rock, and pop music. The song list was based on music with deep youthful sentimental value, which is very much evident in the performance of this talented duo.

Best known as the lead singer of the indie band Little Grey Girlfriend, Erika Lloyd is a spellbinding and versatile songbird. She mesmerizes with an innocent and vulnerable lilt, knocks you over with her classically trained range and power, and entrances all with her dark and soulful blues.

Cameron Mizell is a versatile guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He has been leading his own jazz/funk trio in NYC since 2005, and also works as a sideman for other artists, playing folk, R&B, indie-rock, and Americana styles.
