During a time when there is so much music that is about nothing, the new Erik Grant Bennett CD "Bulletproof" brings us music that is not only melodically and sonically remarkable, but also has real meaning in the words and stories. In the past decade or so, a genre often called Christian Country or Inspirational Country has really begun to emerge. With some strong lyric contributions by Dan Colwell, Erik has created 12 inspired tracks that touch the heart and celebrate God's gifts of love and forgiveness. Through HMG Nashville, Erik has enjoyed tremendous success on radio across the country, with an impressive six of the singles from "Bulletproof" already making the Power Source Top100 charts for Country, Counrty/Christian, and Power Gospel. The single "Jesus Songs" went all the way to #6 in 2011. The latest singles, "He Is The Answer" and the title track "Bulletproof," are already swiftly moving up the charts in their respective genres, joining "Thank You Jesus," which is already in the Top 20.
