Album Notes

I remember standing in the bleachers, surrounded by people screaming her name. We were at a national competition and Erisa was running the 1600m. I watched her pull away from the others and take the lead. In that moment I had two distinct revelations: Erisa was born to lead and she has been given a gift to excel. These two truths carry into every aspect of her life.

She has been involved in music since a young age. As a high school student she participated in musicals and performed multiple solos. While attending Lincoln College (Lincoln, IL), she was a member of several performance groups including Lincoln College Choir and Sophistikatz. She plans to continue developing her abilities by pursuing a music education degree at Millikin University (Decatur, IL).

Erisa continues to increase her talents through songwriting, arranging, directing, and performing. She is a member and co-leader of the music team at her local church where she also directs the choir. Her passion is to help others touch the heart of God through music. She recently completed her first CD "This City Shall Live" which contains ten original songs. The CD includes upbeat praise and worship songs with a cutting edge sound that speaks to all generations. Her goal is to see others healed and delivered as they worship with her.

She has always been one who runs with intensity and excellence. Erisa lives her life focused on fulfilling her destiny. She's been entrusted with a wealth of talent: she is a natural artist, an elegant dancer, a gifted psalmist, a loving wife, a dedicated mother, and a leader in the house of God. She is all of these - and much more than these - but above all, she is one who runs with endurance and grace each race set before her.
