San Franciscan Elaine Romanelli traveled to New York City in May of 2006 for the Broadway run of Tony Kushner and Maurice Sendak’s high-profile collaboration, BRUNDIBAR. She liked the town so much she moved there.
SONGWRITING
Lyrical and sincere, Elaine’s style on Better By Far is an amalgam of compelling storytelling and beautiful singing – and a pinch of sass; Sarah McLachlin meets Tina Fey.

This is far and away the best CD ever written and performed by someone I know. (Sorry, Rob Whitlock and Dave Wu.) If you buy this CD, perhaps someday Elaine will become famous. Then I can parlay my scandalous college stories into a sort of borrowed notoriety, and become a C-Level celebrity in my own right. So buy this CD. My future vicarious fame depends upon it!
