Classic Rock
When it comes to unadulterated sleaze there are few bands quite as unapologetically trashy as The Erotics - with an emphasis on the 'rot'. This is degenerate rock n roll delivered with a switchblade grin, and the subtlety of a knuckleduster-adorned fist to the gut. All of which means that what the songs lack in variety, they more than make up for in sheer, bloody-minded nastiness. The fact that these guys bash out almost identical variations on the same tune - check out the charming likes of '19 Goin On Homicidal', 'Hogtied & Waiting' and the hilarious swearfest that is 'Anything' - is no sin when the riffs are razor-wire sharp, the choruses memorable, and ringleader Mike Trash does his unerring Alice Cooper meets Taime Downe impression. Undemanding, gutter-level entertainment! Essi Berelian

Mike Trash's gravelly vocals and snarling guitars, Billy Beer's thundering bass and Johnny Riott's pounding drums make for a powerful combination that roars through The Erotics latest album. Specialising in the darker, dirtier and more venomous end of sleaze, it's one hell of a party. Opening with the appropriately titled 'Blast Off', a nasty little high octane revenge fantasy, this is one ride you wont want to get off. '19 Goin On Homicdal' is a wonderful, anthemic exploration of beauty in violent death, whilst the title track contains the promise of a darker future when the devil sells his soul to Trash. 'Think I Wanna Die Tonight' is a great expression of hangover sentiments, demanding to be blasted at full volume in spite of your thumping head. But the absolute killer track is 'Anything' - it has relentless rhythm, full on aggression and will be a live monster. The Erotics can always be counted on for a good, if depraved, time and for the seventh album they've once again delivered in spades. Clare Huckett
They've come to the party and brought all the tunes. 'Today The Devil Tomorrow The World' might well be the best album The Erotics have made, it's certainly the best of its genre that I've had the pleasure of hearing for a very long time. All hail The Erotics. Quite simply, on this evidence, The Erotics fuckin' rule!!

New York Sleaze Kings Get Devilish On Seventh Album!
Very few bands can weather the on going changes in today's musical climates but Albany, New York's THE EROTICS are a breed unto themselves. Led by the notorious Mike Trash on vocals and guitar, the streamlined trio completed by bassist Billy Beer and drummer Johnny Riott proudly display the scars of a career in the underground scene that would make most so called rockers squirm in disbelief!
Halloween 2010 sees TrashPit Records in association with Big Zee Music release THE EROTICS seventh studio album 'Today The Devil, Tomorrow The World'. The new album produced by the legendary Don Fury (Agnostic Front, GG Allin, Helmet, Quicksand, Warrior Soul), sees THE EROTICS return to their sleaze filled, pop metal anthems following the dark departure that was 2008's 'RUBBISH' opus. Trash upaologetically still spits venom filled lyrics moulded to the most infectious stadium filled choruses that should have Alice Cooper banging on his door at the early morning hours - should Trash have bothered to have even left the venue bar!
The album title track and fist pumping Hate Anthem of the Decade - 'Anything' - are both available for streaming at www.facebook.com/theerotics or www.myspace.com/theerotics
