ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The Cherubs of the Cosmic took Errol Michael "Filo" Phillips, dropped him into the collegiate of creative collectiveness, and like any child abandoned in a candy factory, he went on a seductive rampage, producing his first pure music album....."
"Only the Administrator knows why he has not been doing this before....."
"Spiritually, Judaic religious belief would be hard-pressed to disprove re-incarnation as surely, Phillips must have had a pre-existence in the 16th. century when madrigals and simple songs were used in the Baroque improvisational tradition...."
These are some of the comments made by listeners. This album uses the variety of rhythms and styles found in the cultural archives of Trinidad to create a unique blend of music. There are songs of frolic, despair, lust, praise, ridicule and lament. All with dramatic, but easy-listening appeal.
