Stalemate is a testament to the diverse talents of Elyse Spies. She has the ability to sing with heart and percision, floating over her own intricate piano lines. She delivers these songs with a Joni Mitchell flare and makes the listener feel as if they are getting their own personal concert right in their own living room. Highly recommended.
