This is my favorite ensemble to perform with The Hawk Project headed by Dennis Yerry and Ken Littlehawk both known for their wonderful native flute sound track performances on the award winning pbs series Ken Burns The West...rounded out by Bass player extrordinaire Steve Rust and Master Percussionist Ken Lovellett this c.d. is unique and has been acknowledged by the likes of Jazz greats Jack De Johnette and Kenny Burrell.

A beautiful collaboration between the song of the Native American flute, singing and sighing like the wind and merging with the churning, rolling tumble of piano and synth, much like the rivers. Meeting in the middle and joined by light percussion the many voices of the The Hawk Project capture the simple, perfect web of nature in these soothing, affirming songs. A choice album for relaxation, meditation and inward journeys.
