Another beautiful musical landscape
author: Dylan
Just like her other CD, "Colors Of Light", Sue Esserwein has a true knack for creating a landscape filled with surreal sounds and ethereal harmonies. To call this CD 'New Age' or, really, to put any label on this music reduces the impact that this CD will make on you. I can only use the words - sonorous, deep, colorful, engaging, ethereal, surreal, unique etc. The list goes on. Give this album a listen through. There is good energy emerging from every track. Her use of spatial sound relations seem to be the perfect thing for anyone wanting to listen to unexplored territory in music. This album should be listened to with an open heart, an open mind, and most importantly, an expanded concsiousness. Great job, Sue!

Spring of 2006 I made the choice to include new age music in my workshop presentations and felt drawn to Sue Esserwein's two newest CDs Colors of Light and Clouds in the Looking Glass. What I have observed when playing Sue's healing music softly in the background as workshop participants create and visit is they all love them! The first time I played these CDs they shared how relaxed listening to them made them feel. One thing I noticed they didn't want to leave three stayed just visiting through the second session. After playing these CDs for several workshops I soon became aware not only is this music helping participates to relax it frees some to release what needs releasing within their being; with some tears flow as they share their healing steps while others acknowledge their letting go of emotions of anger, fear and guilt.

Peacefully relaxing music to center the body, heart, and mind

The Clouds in the Looking Glass is one of the most relaxing CDs I own. Whether working, meditating, or simply relaxing Sue's music centers the mind, body, and soul. My students have experienced great academic results while listening to this specific CD; it truly helps them focus on the task at hand. My favorite tracks are "A New Year's Blessing", "Missing You", and "The Space of No Judgment".
