Album Notes

Ellen's been singing, performing and writing songs for over three decades. Social and environmental concerns have blended with her delight in being alive and bumbling along in relationships to make her songs insightful, personal and universal.

She grew up in Southern California, being a teenager in the Sixties and having the opportunity to hang out with some great musicians and songwriters (such as Jackson Browne and Mary McCaslin) in the LA coffee houses. She then moved to Colorado and toured for years with the original, eclectic country-rock band Tanglefoot -- singing, writing and playing guitar, fiddle and bass. Back and forth between California (north and south) and Colorado since then, she's now settled back in the Rocky Mountains and has recently completed a new CD entitled Come Back Home.

Invisible Threads was birthed in the midst of earthquakes, fires and floods in Los Angeles in 1994. The music is new folk with touches of bluegrass, country, blues and pop. Lots of singable and hopeful songs. Enjoy!
