Album Notes

Musical Gardens has a “heavenly” sound...featuring piano and strings flowing with emotion throughout.

The music imparts to the heart “the tenderness of tranquility” as the songs, one by one, lead the listener into peace, healing, and rest to the soul.

Soothing background music for any home or office— it is non-obtrusive—yet one will pause to give ear to the “voice” of the music as it ministers to you.

This is truly the type of music David played for Saul, silencing “racing and tormenting circular thoughts”.

It is “Divine” music therapy, as many have given testimony. Stresses subside. The mind stills. Inspiration is received. Each song takes you a step further on a journey to wholeness, for it is the manifest presence of God upon you that strengthens and restores you as you listen. This CD has an anointing of peace upon it.

Great listening pleasure for that quiet time at the end of a stressful day...and it is a great CD to go to sleep by with headphones. The music will bring about relaxation and quieting of the mind.

All ages seem to enjoy it's tranquilty...and many have testified that it is absolutely wonderful for road trips, for it quiets everyone down as they tune in to its harmonies and get lost in their own imaginings.

Why don't you download the CD right now! RELAX! and ENJOY the tenderness of tranquility...

REVIEWS

Musical Gardens lands squarely in new-age piano land.
author: Don Kimenker of earBuzz.com
"Musical Gardens", lands squarely in new-age piano land as it devotes its musical offerings to the Lord. The pieces are delicate and memorable starting with the opening track, "Come to Me". All original compositions have similar arpeggiating piano content and dynamically move with grace. Track 2, "I Never Knew You", winds with melody and drama. Track 3, "We Talk Yet Act", moves the register up to the top half of the keyboard as Stephens plays with the music-box inspired piece. The motif of a music-box continues with the DX7-ish, "Reflecting Jesus". The gentle tune is like a lullaby. A dozen tunes into the 17-track record, we hear "Wise Man", a soundtrack like thoughtful piece. With bare piano and some accentuated key patches, "Musical Gardens" is a special collection of Stephens' original and elegantly simple music that soothes.
