Alma Sana is Esther’s second solo project containing 12 tracks. This album builds on the previous themes of “Hope”, Faith and “Trust” with an emphasis on internal reflection about one’s direction in life. It motivates the listener to exam internal motivations. The project includes more live musicians. Many of the tracks include Ritchie Pena on the drums, Josias Pina on the bass, John Walsh on Trumpet and William Cepeda on Trombone. This adds a live feel to the project. The project blends different musical styles, which includes contemporary worship, traditional, ballads and pop music. The album contains traditional lyrics and new music from songwriters Nancy Avila, Jeremiah Tamarez and Esther Avila (Tiempo Para Ti).
