Album Notes

Fan reviews of Super Entertainment System...

“Ive been watching these guys ever since last year’s release on iTunes, saw them live once in Baltimore, and have listened to Sonic 2-Chemical Plant Zone more than any other song on my iPod. This album easily surpasses my expectations. Much more epic sound, more full sound, a bit longer, and a bit more variety in the games covered. Must haves include F-Zero, TMNT 4, Darkwing Rescue Ducks, and Bubble Man. It’s the best 10 dollars I’ve spent on iTunes this year.” Gunstarheroes777

“This album kills…ES has an upgraded bigger sound on this album…huge breadth of material…from vg standards…the mega mans and tetris to some excellent more obscure tunes like the arkanoid high score and little samson?? Rocks from bottom to top. No complaints.” -Richie Millions

“I liked the remixes made here even from games I have never played before. This album is pure OWNAGE! XD” –Antuanfire

“I love Entertainment System’s music! I have both of their iTunes albums, and any Nintendo or SEGA fan who doesn’t buy this is a total RETARD with a capital “R”!!! Now that that’s said, my favorite here is the Tetris one. BUY IT!” -Omega38

The funniest thing happened to me when I played this CD. I don't know how, but the music seems to have been imbued with a magical power that turns me into a giddy five year old while I listen to it. Yes. It's THAT good! I'm enjoying the songs, feeling like I've never heard them before and I'm even singing along to track 9, giving an extra entheusiastic "WOO-OO!" when required. Kudos to the band for picking a wide variety of tunes from our favourite games. Kudos to the band for picking the Moon music from Ducktales. I genuinely believe this is one of the greatest compositions I've ever heard and you certainly did it justice. And finally, you get my own personal "Thank you SO much" for not including any Mario/Zelda music. It's cool and all, but we're sick of it at this point. Picking tunes that haven't been covered much before assures us that the CD isn't stale before we've even heard it.
