Fascinating!

Overall, this is a very interesting album, and lots of fun to listen to. My personal favorite track is "Sol Tunnels" (I heard it and the Marimba Suite in concert), and "Used Car Salesman" is strangely amusing. These guys have a lot of talent, which is extremely evident in all their offerings on this CD. Great for unique background music or close listening.

Brilliant sounds and rhythms

After attending Ethos's NYC concert in May, I had to get this recording, their first with the current personnel of the group. The sound is brilliant, the rhythms enticing, and it is almost as good as being there. But they should do a DVD - the visual element of their performances is wonderful as well.

A great CD to get you going in the morning.

This CD is a rare gem. Its rhythms keep you listening and eventually you too will be tapping on anything around. Need something to get you going in the morning? This CD will do it. Perhaps you are just stressed out like most of us and need something to pop in and just chill out to. This CD is great for both. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone with a love for rhythm and beat!
