Eric's interest in music started at age 14. After 2 years of classical music lessons on the piano, he switched to guitar, and joined his first rock band: The Tropics. They soon became a hit in and around the South-East portion of the United States close to his native Florida. With several single releases it enabled the group to open up for such acts as The Who, Dave Clark 5, Young Rascals, Neil Diamond, The McCoys, Yardbirds and Vanilla Fudge, just to name a few. (Note: The Tropics have done a few reunion engagements).

Eric's next group, Bacchus, also had several single releases allowing them to opening spots for Grand Funk Railroad, Lynard Skynyrd, BB King, Cactus, Outlaws, Redbone, Edgar Winter, Ted Nugent and a unpublicized guest appearance at the Atlanta Pop Festival, which is known to be much larger than Woodstock, population wise.

Upon arrival in California, Eric joined a group called Fortress and signed with Atlantic Records. They toured with Ambrosia and Santana.

Then Eric went into Christian music. Fourteen albums later, with Darrell Mansfield and Denny Correll, has produced a World Wide Ministry and continues till this day by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. If someone ever asked my to describe this artist and his works, I wouldn't have enough words in my vocabulary! God has given this man a vast amount of talent and a very deep soul to transport his musical blessings to the ears of the multitudes of Earthlings who are enlightened by every note! This CD is a high energy and tasteful hard rock tribute! Erics love of the Lord is everpresent. And though I wasn't fortunate enough to play on this cd, as a life long musical partner and brother to Eric, I am deeply moved by his soulful offerings. Peace on Earth through Music !!!!!
