Evan was born in West Point, NY and spent the first third of his life growing up on military bases around the country. While moving a lot, he taught himself to play drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, harmonica and many percussion instruments before turning 13. By age 16, Evan began performing his music in bars and clubs and has played over 2500 live shows to date.
Evan has released 6 CDs on LoveCat Music since 1999 and 1 CD on Universal Records. Working from conception through post-production, Olson has become an invaluable member of the Gagsters! This CD kicks butt. Evan Olson's music is better than what I hear on the radio. This guy is star material!!!

Lots of Great Stuff Here!

Well, it's no surprise that Evan's music has been heard in TV and movies--he's got some great tunes to be heard! I just happened upon this disc and was glad I did... it's got great pop songs ("Not What I Wanted" which is my favorite track on the disc and "I Can't Forget"), harder rockin' tunes ("Burn Me Down") and even some funky grooves ("City Joe") which make for quite an eclectic, yet enjoyable album of songs. I'll definitely be checking out his newer stuff and I'd be happy to play in Evan's band any day.
