Why Stride?
"You get that right tickin' rhythm, man, and its ON!"
--Fats Waller
In its heyday, nearly 90 years ago, this jazz reflected
and celebrated emancipation from the old world form.
Since today this emancipation continues as freedom spreads
around the world, this album serves as a celebration of
our freedom enshrined in this unique American musical form.
Special Thanks to the talented Miss Elizabeth, Dimitri Moderbacher,
and Rick Bogart.
