What many have come to discover is that self love is in fact a prerequisite to living with a peaceful heart, and bringing authentic care to others and to the world. I wrote this song, 'Simple Truth', to address the need for self love, what self love might actually feel like (compassion and tenderness for the self, like we can have for children and nature), and some of the obstacles that may be encountered as we practice self love.
