Album Notes

This album is so original there really isn't anything to compare it with!!!! Some are calling it a new genre "Dreamo". Empty Hands is an "art-rock" album reminiscent of Genesis, Yes, Moody Blues and Pink Floyd, with lots of piano, organ, synthesizer and guitar parts. However the drum and bass lines are more reminiscent of Joy Division, New Order and Depeche Mode. Even Steven's lyrics are melancholy and introspective. Any music listener who thinks that Rock's best days are in the past needs to listen to this album!!!

Steve Campeggi plays piano, organ, synthesizers, acoustic/electric guitars, bass, drums, lead and background vocals. No one assisted Steven with this album, and it's possibly one of the best solo performances ever recorded, have a listen for yourself and find out why so many people are talking about Even Steven.

None of the songs contain profanity or graphic language.

so indie that its a new genre
author: Kristi Thompson
Empty hands is a brilliant album that combines lo-fi irono-cheese elements a la The Moldy Peaches and dreamy kraut rock ambiences along the lines of Roger Eno. This album is not your run of the mill Indie record this is a whole new level. This is a new genre of rock that some might call "dremo." If you are looking to out do your emo/indie/hipster friends, spin some even steven Empty Hands and tell them that the cutting edge is in dreamo. wicked!
