The long awaited debut CD by the Eventually Brothers is All Over The Map. Sooner or later, it had to happen. Craig McKerron and Tim Readman are the Eventually Brothers. They have been playing music together for 21 years. They met in Vancouver BC in 1987, shortly after Tim arrived from England, through an ad in the local entertainment guide. They have always played in different bands but only very occasionally with one another in public. They did however spend hours at the kitchen table jamming and songwriting until the girls came home.
The lyrics for All Over The Map were written by Alan Millen who wrote the lyrics for two CDs of songs about Newcastle United that Tim did with The Exiles. When songwriter Alan Millen invited the Eventually Brothers to join him on a musical journey that would take them \"all over the map\", they promptly packed their bags and climbed on board. With the exception of the handful of love songs, which describe journeys of the heart, the scope of the lyrics is geographically rich indeed, taking in such literal locations as the Alaska Highway, the Canadian prairies, Hungary, the caves of Africa, Minnesota and New York City along with a variety of figurative waystations en route.
Everyone who came along for all or part of the ride has had their horizons broadened significantly. Now we are all home again safe and sound and thinking to ourselves: what a long, strange trip it\'s been!
