Everyday Prophets is a five-piece group based in Portland, Oregon, USA that is pioneering their own brand of reggaetronic dance music, incorporating conscious lyrics, dance-heavy beats and rock instrumentation.
"Singles from the Future" is a release that will tide over fans that have been waiting for almost a year for new material. After finding that it's tough not to record what's new and fresh, the Prophets skipped over a whole album of material to record these first.
"Flinch" is a stretched-out heavy dub-rock tune that has gotten good responses live. Flinch is proving popular with reggae djs in the Pacific Northwest.
"Lazerbeam" is an upbeat dance-reggae love song that touches on the more danceable side of their live act. Lazerbeam is currently on regular rotation on KNRK, Portland's commercial alternative rock station, and beginning to get play on smaller stations around the globe.
