ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"A masterpiece of Acid folk ! ... The female vocals are especially haunting and evocative." Al Wilson
In the late 1960s lyricist Alan Wakeman and musician/composer Michael S Klein composed many songs expressing dismay at humanity's responsibility for the damage we were (and are) doing to our amazing planet and in 1972 released twelve of these on their album EITHER/OR.
There is compelling evidence that A Gay Song, performed by EVERYONE INVOLVED with members of the London Gay Liberation Front singing along on the choruses, was the first proud gay song ever published.
