Album Notes

After 2 albums and positive reviews everywhere, Evil Wings releases the real thing.

"Colors Of The New World" is their most melodic sounding album to date, but still strongly placed into Progressive Hard Rock.

Highly recommended if you like Dream Theater, Rush, or King's X.

Make sure you check out the amazing 18 minutes Prog-Metal suite titled The Secret.

Evil Wings is original...tight, well thought out music. Keep up the good work in the name of progressive rock!

This cd is great! These guys have really nice songs with prog interludes, but I can hardly hear DT's influence as it is stated in the cd description on this site.

Colors of the new world contains an excellent variety of songs. From heavy guitar driven tracks, such as the title song to slow, meandering ones like "starship". The album does not fall victim to the common prog mistakes of forced time changes and songs that are too long. Highly recommended for fans of metal and prog-rock.
