5. The Forgetting: “This is about loss in general, non specific, I guess you can relate it to my Father, but really it’s just generic
loss and the realisation of what you once had.”
6. Ballad of Broken Wishes: “I wrote for my son Jude, the essence of the song is that, even though I will always totally be
there for him, I’m not going to gloss it all up; life can be vey difficult.”
7. Idiot: “This one’s about how I look back at my youth and I don’t even recognise the person I used to be. I just wandered
around believing that I knew best; then I would generally count the cost.”
