Short and sweet. Thunderingly intense, yet very complex and detailed.

At only 20 minutes long, this EP from The Evolutionaries is a concentrated blast of industrial mayhem. From the word go the listener is treated to a brutal assult of abrasive guitars and thundering drums. In contrast to the relatively low tempos of their last release, The Evolutionaries have gone for what appears to be a more punk orrientated style. However, none of the intricate electronic detail is lost, with the rock aspects of the music underpinned by dark synthetic textures, lending the music that unmistakable 'evolutionaries' sound.
The distinctive vocal style is welcome also, being booth brooding and intense, the lyrics having that familiar flavour of vivid imagary and fatalism. If you liked Normalized you will definately be pleased with Exoskelton. For new listeners, this will be a great introduction!

Exoskeleton is a really special ep.
The lyrics are very serious and have a deep going meaning without loosing the ability to act as lyrics itself. I like it^^
I love the fast style with electronics and especially the excellent usage of all the noise-effects.
Perfect!
The only disadvantage of this CD is that it is an EP and not a LP. It's a pity because it's really good music. More tracks are favorised!
Altogether 4 out of 5 points!
