The phenomenal sophomore release from these innovators of 21st century metal. The ebb and flow of this brooding, yet exhilarating darkness leaves the listener deeply moved...haunted. Their mournful harmonies will sear your nonexistent soul.

Album Notes

"Worst of All Possible Worlds" was conceived and concocted in the concrete jungle of industrial Los Angeles. This may be a long haul from the forests of Norway and the ashes of many a burned church, but the bottom line is the same: punishing, unforgiving grimness, simultaneously full of despair and a healthy lust for destruction. Not an album for the feeble, nor for those short on wit or curiosity. "Worst" is captivating and challenging, worthy of both banging your head to and having an engaging discussion over. Despite the countless clones in the metal world these days, Exhausted Prayer continue to reject the call for homogeneity and refuse to cater to mainstream tendencies. Expect anger, speed, despair...and humanity. This is as dark as it gets.

"Worst of All Possible Worlds" is a self-produced representation of the collective psychosis of Mike Caffell, Swansong, Chris McCarthy, and Richard Vulich.
