EXIT has the mysterious "It" that so many bands can only dream of having. They are powerful, evoking, and emotionally impactful. Not enough adjectives? Get into this band NOW, before you can no longer claim that you "knew about them before everyone else".
-Todd Richards, host "Running Late", WBWC Radio Cleveland
EXIT's roots formed in 1997, when teenagers Courtney and Affa bonded over their love for The Beatles. In 1999, Pam and former singer Nikki signed on and by 2001, EXIT had established themselves as a no-frills U2 tribute band. Compelled from the start to write their own music, the band began gradually filling their sets with original tunes. EXIT soon proved to be a strong musical force within the Los Angeles music scene. Five years of experience later, the band has a new vocalist, Trevi, and is committed to honing their original sound, writing prolifically and performing more powerfully than ever before.
For a young band, the influences that underlie EXIT's foundation are sturdy - U2, The Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Daniel Lanois, Pink Floyd and The Who inspire elements of EXIT's sound. Great respect for this music and the high expectations the band sets for itself show through in the quality of the songs and the passion revealed onstage.
In a short time and mostly through live performances, EXIT has captured the interest of the media, music industry and fans worldwide. In November 2005, EXIT was brought onstage by U2 to play “Out of Control†at the sold-out Staples Center in Los Angeles . The band has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Blender Magazine and on the TV show EXTRA. EXIT has performed in venues near and far: The Whisky-a-Go-Go, The Viper Room, The Key Club, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, El Mocambo in Toronto , Canada , Sunset Station in Las Vegas , and Ameristar Casinos in Mississippi and Iowa . In December 2003, they had the honor of playing to USO and NATO troops on a tour of Bosnia and Kosovo.
A desire to share their original material with their growing fan base compelled the band to enter the studio in early 2003. Written, produced and financed independently, the self-titled EP was finished just in time for a trip to Cleveland , where the songs made their debut on broadcast and Internet radio, thanks to Todd Richards of WBWC, who interviewed the band on his show.
After a busy couple of years spent traveling, gigging and songwriting, EXIT returned to the studio in October 2006 to record their second EP released in December. The band anticipates the production of a full-length album in 2007. Trevi, Courtney, Affa and Pam are currently writing songs and performing in and around Southern California.

Four Powerful Thought Evoking Songs
author: Nicky McMillan
Give it Up... A song full of bite, attitute & funk rock.. A kick ass song, one I didn't expect to be honest. One that I would imagine is fantastic live. A good single to grab people's attention.
January Sky is a well crafted pop song. Have enjoyed previous versions of this song more than any other Exit song. The more prominent backing vocals on this version are wonderful.
The backing acoustic guitar definetly adds something to the song, a more fuller sound. The vocals on this version are the best yet. Tervi's vocals are so beautiful. The outro especially. Lovely lyrics too.
Like Fire is a real psychedelic monster. Wonderful psychedelic journey, its one of those songs you can imagine going on for ever live. It possibly is too restrained on this studio version. The guitars, bass & drums could have been even more aggressive. But maybe the band were conscious they didn't want to sound too AC/DC like which would have ruined the song. I dunno, I'm no musician, the balance is a fine one. Still this is a wonderful piece of music to listen to with the lights down, no other distractions and just let the music take you there. Brilliant song.
Wish You Could Know is a really beautiful delicate song to start with. The electric guitar on this version is beautiful, just at the right tempo for the delicate vocals. Then the best part on the whole EP for me... I love how the bass ups the tempo on the 1:50 mark. Then the added acoustic guitar element of the song crowns it for me. Genuis that the band have managed to kind of mash (I hate using that word, as I know that isnt the case at all, but its what I wrote down and its as good as I can describe it) the two parts from the demos into one sublime song. Genuis, really brought a smile to my face. Nice lyrics & delivery of them. Trevi does a wonderful job here. A really powerful thought evoking song.
