Album Notes

The Burning Bush Music Ministries Incorporated is a non-profit organization that was started in January of 1993 by Bobby Favors and Tal Williams. The Burning Bush was created through divine inspiration from God to the heart of Bobby Favors. God placed it in Bobby's heart to start a music ministry. Bobby worked along-side Tal for five years before the subject of music ever came about. After this initial conversation, Bobby and Tal realized that their lives would be joined together for many years to come. The group got off to a fast start performing in as little as two months from the start of the ministry. The group has had a variety of members over the last 12 years. It started with nine members and was a large as thirteen.

In 1995, the group released their first album entitled "Eternal Life". Through the success of this album, the group was noticed by a concert promoter in Italy which brought about a concert tour of northern Italy in 1997. One of the many highlights of this sold out tour was the concert at the Bordighera Jazz and Blues Festival that featured renown jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater.

Fast forward to the year 2005, the group has had a few personnel changes. Now the group is an all male band. The group consists of : Bobby Favors-group leader/drummer; Tal Williams-music director/keyboardist/vocalist; Acie Graham-vocalist/guitarist; Ralph Johnson-vocalist/latin percussionist; John Washington-saxophones; and Dwayne Wells-bassist/guitarist/trombone.

The new CD release is a three song disc entitled "Burning Bush". "Let Your Will Be Done" is a song of praise to our lord and savior Jesus Christ. This song is an upbeat joyful song that can be sung around a campfire or on a church bus for example. It has a catchy chorus and folksy kind of flavor. The second track entitled "God Is Love" is a funk-rock flavored praise song that is upbeat and has a little more of an edge to it. It tells of God's undying love that He has for us. Last but surely not least the incomparable "Peace Be Still". This is a song of comfort. This song is more or less a lullaby. It tells the listener to say "peace be still" to the storms that come their way. Tell the problems in your life that they are powerless to the hand of the almighty God. Acie Graham led all three songs with a masterful display of sensitivity and anointing. This CD is our offering to you. We pray that this CD will richly bless your life as it has blessed ours. This project is dedicated to our lord and savior Jesus Christ the son of the most high God "I AM".
