EX-P is an italian entity creating and performing music since 2004.
First cd, Ancora Saigon, has been released in 2005 (fratto9underthesky records).
New cd Carpaccio esistenziale is out on february 9th 2008 (fratto9underthesky records).
The title has been inspired by the alchemy which both italian cuisine - carpaccio is a famous italian dish - and a full and happy existence are based on. It’s a mix of EX-P’s favourite ingredients: melody, psychosis, improvisation. There are links and common features between the 12 tracks, with two or three-parted compositions.
It’s a pleasure and exploration journey, like through the courses of a rich and precious menu.
“We know what musical language is about. Our music has a doubtful style, sounds low-fi, swings between too many different choices, but it shouldn’t be any other way for those who want to be avant-guard today.
