Album Notes

EXPOSD is a solo hiphop artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. This music is different than most hiphop you've heard before because this music has actual meaning. If your sick of normal rap music, then EXPOSD is the answer!

Music entered the life of EXPOSD around the age of five, becoming obsessed with all types of music and artists up to the time when he decided to pick up a pen and write a verse. EXPOSD started writing his own lyrics at the age of thirteen, recorded his first completed songs two years later with his group at that time known as Societys Prey (made up of JB [aka EXPOSD], Pentaside, and Adville). Societys Prey performed local shows around the city of Cincinnati to form a small fanbase and released a short sampler CD called "Taste of Reality" in 2002, later that year the group lost member Adville. So their first and only album release was released by the SP duo of EXPOSD and Pentaside in 2004 entitled "Truth Be Told".

After the group split, everyone went their own directions, and Cincinnati hiphop label Open Mind Productions was created in 2005. At that time OMP was made up of three solo artists; EXPOSD, Adville, and C-Raig. The showcase LP "513: The Album" was released in late 2005 to help promote the artists.

In the year of 2007, EXPOSD took on a new challenge by writing and recording his own solo album completely alone. The "Full Circle" EP dropped professionally pressed publicly in July 2007!

The next thing on the EXPOSD agenda was the collab LP between EXPOSD and Dirty Adville; along side producer C-Raig making up the group known as Da Synonyms which was released in August 2008. Open Mind Productions artists have also become regular performers at local Cincinnati Hemprock events like Reefer Rumble and Hempfest to help promote legalizing the plant marijuana.

What does 2009 hold for EXPOSD you may ask? Well, as we speak there's a lot of collaborations in the works with EXPOSD and other artists that have been added to the original "Full Circle" tracklist to make it an LP, plus the long awaited follow up to "Full Circle" which will be coming down the road in 2010.
