Ezra Weiss' Alice in Wonderland is an original commission by Northwest Children's Theater and School. Produced as part of the 2008-2009 Season, the production was developed to entertain children and adults alike while introducing them to classic literature and jazz history.

In this adaptation of Lewis Carroll's iconic masterpiece, Alice's journey into Wonderland features all the familiar favorites. This jazz musical brings to life the Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, Queen of Hearts and others, all inspired by the music of such legendary jazz artists as Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, B.B. King, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Ornette Coleman, Shirley Horn, Bessie Smith, and Charles Mingus.
