ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In 2007, three musicians of great experience, Alessandro Alessandrini, Luigi Ridolfi and Rodolfo Ridolfi, create a band that surprises. A trio that in proposing the original songs, rooted in blues and is nourished by the great history of American and English rock. And from the blues rock music of EZRIDERS expands exploring the psychedelic, the "southern harmonies", the "worship" of the jam, to get to the "soulful ballads", and cultivating even Latin and country influences. An absolutely original ensemble, which reflects the legacy of the golden age of rock and blues jam bands of the seventies to deliver a new musical language strong and free. Alessandro Alessandrini began writing music and playing in clubs at the beginning of the nineties with the trio POISON WHISKEY. Continued cooperation with the OLD TENNIS SHOES, band well known in local and offers a powerful blues rock british inspiration. After six years with OLD TENNIS SHOES and a disc of original songs as assets, in 2003 Alessandro Alessandrini form "TONY & THE SOUTHERN ROCKERS, southern rock band that plays the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd and that you appreciate in the region and national level. In 2006 took part in the reunion of BLUES DOGS, the cover band of the official Italian ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, with BLUES DOGS part with great success to the 2007 dell'Amenano BLUES FESTIVAL, this participation is reviewed on Buscadero and from which is drawn a live disc. I BLUES DOGS are promoted by the Milanese CURTIS LOEWE Luca Crippa and successfully propose their music all over Italy. Luigi Ridolfi is a great blues-rock musician. Since its inception in the late seventies / early eighties his style as a bass player and background vocalist is absolutely unique and unmistakable. In the eighties, is distinguished by ROCK BAND MAGAZINE along with his brother Rodolfo Ridolfi drums. In the second half of the eighties joined the OLD TENNIS SHOES and contributes so detrminante to the success and reputation of the local band. In 1999 Alessandro Alessandrini knows the OLD TENNIS SHOES. Between the two was born a deep friendship and an important artistic partnership that continues in training TONY & THE SOUTHERN ROCKERS. In 2007, Luigi Ridolfi and Alessandro Alessandrini form the EZ RIDERS, with Rodolfo Ridolfi returning to play with his brother nearly 20 years after MAGAZINE ROCK BAND. Write a disc with 12 original songs, which is the first album of EZ RIDERS. Experience live band born of other original songs that soon will be part of the second disc of the EZ Riders

Powerful blues CD fused with rock guitars
The blues/rock band, E.Z. Riders, have released a throwback to the days of Humble Pie with their latest effort, “Experienced Zydeco Riders.” Their roots are obvious, with raging Steve Marriott guitar riffs and gritty vocal tones reminiscent of early ZZ Top. “Witchy Woman” is by far the best track on the CD and is not an Eagles cover. Instead, it is an E.Z. Riders blues jaunt, filled with Lynyrd Skynyrd style slide guitar playing. That is really what this band and this disc are all about; strong and rocking guitars. If you crave more string bending guitar action, give a listen to songs like “I Should Have Quit You” and “Mean Mistreater” and you will get your fill. “Experienced Zydeco Riders” belongs in the hands of any 70’s blues/rock fan.
