Album Notes

The Weathered CD is the latest effort of the New American Folk group ‘Fable’.
My name is John Crafton. I am the founding member of Fable and we have just released our new CD “Weathered”. You can also review our other work at, www.softwindproductions.com.
The music of Fable is centered on the times we all share, our American heritage, and the musical backdrop of our lives.

This CD contains Poignant, Tender, Edgy, Political, Philosophical, and sometimes Romantic stories, supported by acoustic guitars, keyboards, lyrical violin, and rich harmony vocals. The CD offers the listener a ‘live’ musical experience that is emotional, powerful, strangely familiar, and uniquely Fable.

The 11 tracks selected for this project tell a story and reflect the range of music we perform in our live shows. We greatly appreciate the audience reception, the reviews, and airplay we have received and we wish to invite you to our broadening family of listeners.
