Although in the years I met many different musicians, I had never heard the sentence "jazz is my life" until Fabrizio Gaudino told me so.
These words made me think that more than the technical and instrumental perfection, this type of music requires first of all passion and dedication. Those who have a natural attitude to artistic expression, together with an inner motivational urge, will grow musically through a never ending journey. This first release by Fabrizio, well accompanied by the qualified rhythm section of Memoli, Pisani and Soldano is indeed the first step of a seaway that he will hopefully soar with full veils.
