Originating from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, The Flying Accusations call themselves Super Heros of Torch and Twang! Their combination of Roots, backwoods, newgrass, altcountry and original tunes, appeals to the most discriminating Hillbilly. One song may have you in hysterics, while the next one may leave you with a tear in your eye. This band will draw out your emotions. Down-home, full frontal, emotionally charged, in your face music; Mix in five part vocal harmonies that raise the small hairs on the back of your neck and you'll understand why this band's popularity is rising faster than a thermometer on Viagra. Git ready to start yer toes atappin' and yer hands aclappin' - The Flying Accusations are here. YeeHaw!

Now Arriving

A nice collections of well-crafted tunes, beautifully performed and very nicely produced.
My favorite track is number 4, just a toe tappin' finger snappin, geta-up-and dancin' kinda tune.
They move from Bluegrass, to folk, even a touch of the Gospel feel, and Roots with equal ease.
I would love to see them perform live ... the CD has an infectious sponteneity to it, which I'm sure is carried on to their stage performance.
Way to go!

Flying Accusations Now Arriving... Indie (2007)
I’ve had the pleasure of hearing tastes of this group on CHLY,
followed by giving this CD a good listen in the comfort of my home
and that’s exactly what this CD is – a good listen! This music is
kitchen table comfortable with a bitter twist of reality and pinch of
tongue in cheek, my kind of recipe. The diversity of this CD provides
a buffet of flavours for the listener. You are taken over a shaky,
old-time covered bridge with the introductory track 'Call Me
Sweetheart' then switchbacked to a shout along chorus in 'Can’t
Live Like That' to full steam ahead with 'Lies, Halftruth and
Misinformation' then back to the station for a deep south 1930's (and
it sounds like it) chain gang ballad 'End of the Line" which I’m
sure for this band it is not .
The Flying Accusations train has not only Now Arrived, it's leaving the station with a full head of steam from my hometown no less. This debut CD is an all aboard YeeHaw and Whhoo Whhoo train ride. Count me in as a new passenger with a window seat, singing along in the Club Car.
