Fadouba Oulare
author: de LAMARE Jacques
Fadouba Oulare is, undoubtedly, "the" greatest master djembefola (and he will remain for a long time). He's recognized as such even by his peers, except those (numerous) who are too jalous... One has to know that Mr Fadouba Oulare's tracks are pure jewels...due to the fact that he is a genius. One must also know that, on each rythm (like "soko", "kawa", "Mendiani"...all of them, and many other that have unfortunately not been recorded up to now), Mr Fadouba Oulare could have record many many different versions that would have been "jewels" too, for sure.... Please, when playing djembe, try to think of him....with respect and humbleness. The "malinké" music is not a little thing.
