ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Failing Light is an American Metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Early in April 2013, a hard rock band, that Tad Choman (Vocals) and Josh Fox (Rhythm Guitar) were members of, disbanded, and after talking to a friend of theirs, Rob Gladden (Drums), they decided to start a new band that has an altogether heavier sound. The line-up was one step away from being finished when the trio invited Felix Ortega (Lead Guitar) to jam with them; they clicked immediately, and began writing new material. With influences such as Threat Signal, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Periphery, and many more, the band's compositions include groove-oriented riffs, technical proficiency, and vocals ranging from dark, monstrous growls to epic and soaring clean vocals.
