Album Notes

The songs on this album are all a complete joy to experience. 'Blood, Bones & Soul' is what today's music needs. I am completely impressed with the evolution of Rory Faithfield. His music is refined and very inspirational. The songs on this album show that a little time and a lot of hard work can make an artist into a certain superstar. That's the future I see for Rory Faithfield. He's definitely superstar material, and with music like this, he's well on his way....
This is one of those albums that not only do I enjoy hearing, but find myself singing along to. There's a singer/songwriting appeal to this music that makes it carry more weight than your typical disposable pop. This is for true music fans who are not impressed by flashy videos and empty lyrics.
Rory Faithfield is a true artist, just waiting to be heard by true music fans.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY...
Alternative organic pop artist Rory Faithfield grew up playing in garage punk bands around Sydney Australia, before moving to Dublin.
Although described by one journalist as "...a strength that will move and inspire you with jolts of positive energy", Rory's attitude was best summed up, albeit tongue in cheek, with 'Dance Your Own Dance' from his debut album of 1998.
Developing his craft amongst the heavily populated singer-songwriter scene around Dublin, Rory started quietly slipping off to Germany during '96 and '97, expanding his
repertoire with literally hundreds of solo acoustic gigs.
Here and now in 2002 comes the long overdue second album, 'Blood, Bones, & Soul'. Recorded in Dublin, with Bill Shanley and Ciaran Byrnes sharing production duties at
'The Cauldron Studios'.

This is a very well produced and recorded album. The lyrics are very poetic and thought provoking. Rory is an intelligent vocalist,he is all about, and in, the songs. He has captured some great vocal performances on this CD.The stand out song for me is RISE ABOVE,it has a chorus that screams out..put me on the radio!
