Album Notes

Well y'all, we finally finished the record and here it is. Nao, Scott and I have been rocking the NYC club scene for a while, working on this record in our spare time with our friends, producer and engineer, Brian Dozoretz and engineer Matt Saccuccimorano. There's a lot of love on this record, and listening the songs again takes me back to their inspirations, the trip to Martha's Vineyard in "Everlasting", being so in love that i just wanted to sit quietly in "Like a Child", the crazy restaurant customer who was ultimately so kind in "Delicate", the never ending night sky off Long Island Sound in "Lay Me Down" the street vendors of 2nd Avenue in "Daybreak", the man that I still love in "Slowly".

Nao Hakamada plays some kickass guitar on this record, I especially like his solos in "Ya Ya Go" and "Never Leave Me Alone". Scott Hartley joined the group towards the end of recording and he plays great on "A Place Where Love Can Grow". And Hank Roberts, a really cool guy from the jazz world, plays cello on "Give Thee Peace". We've been working on this record for a long time and now it is finished, full of african percussion, dubby basslines, wicked guitars and psychedelic soul. For your pleasure.

Enjoy.

This is a very beautifull cd, the songs are original and passionate. It is refreshing to have a cd like this come along. A classic rock, soul, and reggae album.

This CD is both moving and mellow. A real treat when you want something more than the trite sounds you seem to hear everywhere these days. There is true thought and feeling behind this music.

All kinds of emotions ran through me the first time I heard Delicate. I was lucky enough to find Fath on myspace, and was so excited to see there was an album available here on CDBaby. The songs and Faith's sound is so original, different and refreshing, it's just what I was looking for.
