Album Notes

Fallen Roadies have emerged from Heartland Studios in Galena, Ill., with a new CD, "Living In Your Head." The disc is more polished than their previous releases while still maintaining the edge that has become a trademark of their live performances.

"Living In Your Head" includes 10 all-new tracks, two of them produced by Madison producer Jilladair Reiss, a veteran of the Madison music scene who arrived here by way of Metalworks Studios in Ontario, Canada.

"Zoo" is a rocker that draws on the "wall of sound" pioneered in the 60s, while "Somewhere Else" marries melodic rock and funk with a distinctive Roadies twist.

In a nod to hardcore local fans, the last track on the disc, "You Got No Soul," was recorded live at the Gamehendge Pub in Platteville. That track, fast becoming a favorite in clubs, was recorded and mixed by bass player Art Ranney.

"Living In Your Head" features seven other original tunes produced by Fallen Roadies and A. J. Steil of Heartland.
