Electrify your bloody senses.....Falling Green is History!
author: Electric Tears
From the Darkness of Death and the Doom of Light emerge a combination of three blood thristy musicians who spawed from the most vile of venom that the Gods ever created....Paul, Bobby and Jeremy! Frustrated by the darkness engulfing the jazz scene in urban America, these three heroes ventured on a journey that would make them legends forever. From the ashes of their anger and humilty they formed what would be called the revengeful Falling Green. Legend has it that they wanted to call it the Fallen Apple. Nonetheless, Grue is a badass album. Its chilled out and very smooth to listen to. there are many professional jazz bands out there, but these guys beat them all (I am no Jazz expert but these guys are exceptions). Get it, your money will be well spent :-)

Wow, what a great cd. Falling green has a sound that is completely unique and powerful. This is a great cd to just pop into your cd player and listen to with friends or by yourself. The guitar rifts just make you want to get up and dance, or at least tap your foot along to the music. I highly recommend picking up this album. This bad has definite potential to make it big.

The cd has an incredible flow. You can listen to it without skipping any songs and there are some songs for quite a few moods you could be in. If music has a healing power these guys are the M.D.'s on call.

A cool blend of soothing jazz, inspired rifts and wicked solos
author: Nate
"Grue" is just a great out-pouring of feeling, both vocally and instrumentally. The lyrics flow from self-inspection to political frustration to just about the verge of questioning life's purpose and then back. The music surprisingly expresses similar emotions, even during instrumentals - great union of words and music. But this album succeeds where most others of this genre fail, it does not preach. The songs take on new meanings almost every time I listen to them - they change with my mood. The mark of a truly good band - they have molded their music and ideas on "Grue" into something the listener can not only relate to, but actually feel. You can walk away having gained something from it on a personal level. Really unique. Coupled with amazing music, the album can be listened to again and again and still stay fresh. I have seen Falling Green play the songs on "Grue" live more than once and each time the audience has stood almost mesmerized trying hard to take everything in. It's the sort of music that makes you want to kick back and just think after hearing it - inspiring. Great for groovin' while driving around in the car!
