This is our first compilation disc for the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, Inc.
The Brendan Borek Surf Memorial is held annually on the third Saturday in August in Avalon, New Jersey. Brendan was a local teen who died of cancer in 1991.
During the surf contest there is always a beach concert featuring local bands. As an outgrowth of this event, we decided to put together the Family cd.
We think you'll enjoy the varied artists and moods of the disc.
All proceeds benefit Cape May County, New Jersey pediatric cancer patients and their families through the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, Inc, A Pediatric Cancer Fund.
Everyone's generosity helps bring assistance into the lives of critically ill children. We can't imagine a more powerful way to remember Brendan.
His legacy lives on.
