Album Notes

The Family Junction is the space meant for music. Comprised of childhood friends, the Family Junction treats the stage and recording studio as a medium for coming together and expressing various musical styles. Family Junction creates a unique sound blending everything from funk to folk, rock to blues, and jazz to jam in an instrument swapping frenzy.

The band comprises Alan Cohen (guitar/bass/vocals), Dan Levine (guitar/drums/vocals), Matt Ross (guitar/bass/drums), Ryan Pressman (guitar/bass/drums), and Seth Kroll (lyricist).

During the summer of 2004 Family Junction recorded their first full length album titled "Pasta Bar". The album illustrates the wide range of style the band members are capable of. The band also regularly plays shows in the Boston and New York areas. Keep checking the web site or add yourself to the mailing list for more information about the latest craze to hit the town; Family Junction.

Pasta Bar shows how strong the FJ truly can be when given the opertunity and small sound proof room. This album is a compleate work of art and will become a sure classic on the same level as the of original works of Dispatch, Guster or O.A.R.

The album is great. It's a great mix of so many different types of music. And the fact that each member of the band plays a different instrument on each track is awesome.

I respectfully submit this review saying that I dare say this is the highest quality production of music ever created. It spans the versatility of ALL genres and has the power to really change the face of music. It does not ruin everything good.
